I'd like to get a set for the quieter pads. I've bought 3 different drum dimmer pads, and they all dropped my accuracy too far to be worth keeping. Unfortunately, the new instruments won't be out in Canada 'til next month - huge bummer. I doubt I will buy the game until I can get the new drum kit, either.

Lucky I wish I had the money for the ION set. I picked up the RB2 set yesterday. It's pretty cool. Though the kick better I don't know. Feel's better but worse at the same time. I don't like how springy it is.
Lol, it's called student loans. No matter which drum set you have, you should use a "good" pedal. Honestly, I've never even tried the pedal that came with the ION's. I have my own, reed switch, real pedal mod and I love it. It's pretty much the same thing as the destroyer pedal, but I made it myself. I have a little less than $50 in it.
